・slouch　　　うつむく,前かがみに立つ（すわる）

・tine　　　（フォークなどの）歯; （シカのつのの）枝.

・obscene　　　節度を欠いた、常識から外れた

・bachelor　　　独身者
　　　Edward’s our most eligible bachelor.

・mingling　　　混和
　　　Business mingling?

・stomp　　　足を踏み鳴らす; 足で踏みつける
・divot　　　《ゴルフ》ディボット、〔クラブで〕削り取られた芝生の一片

・attic　　　屋根裏部屋

・prostitute　　　売春婦; 男娼, おかま; 金の奴隷
